Good beer on tap and good pizza. Great place to come with friends an just chill. They have arcade games, pool tables and a dance floor. I have never been here when the dance floor was used but I am sure it is later at night. The large pizza will easy feed 3 -4 people. I saw some people have had bad service. I must be lucky or the waitstaff is different now. Every time it has been great and prices are very reasonable.

The worst service and food we have ever experienced and also the bar tender tried to keep some of the keno winnings just saying we will never go back. When the manager came over we explained the lies we were told she told us to pay out bill and leave. So we did and will NEVER go back when I got home I needed to run to the rest room what does that tell you???? Bad bad bad food and service

Pros: Good beers on tap at reasonable prices. The food isn't that bad, either. The fries are pretty damn good. Lots of TVs for the sports enthusiasts like myself. The beer specials are pretty good for the most part, too. Cons: The atmosphere of this place is as alive as Saddam Hussein. The setup is quite strange, especially the dance floor (that nobody really ever dances on). It is just plain boring all the time. No life blood in this establishment and it seems like they can do a lot better for being a sports bar, and it's not in a terrible location. I bet I could redesign the place better. I frankly don't know how they aren't losing money every month. Maybe they are. There are better places in the area that are more worth my time. This place isn't necessarily good at doing anything. It's a hodge podge where I don't think they know what to pride themselves on, and neither do the customers.

To sum it up, go somewhere else. Bad food, no drink specials, not a sports bar. And here is why: Service was okay. Took a long time to get the food which was surprising because the place was dead. I also ordered a Coke and got a Pepsi. I hate Pepsi, so I would have liked to know that the don't serve coke products. Waitress should have stated that. I would have ordered a water instead. The food was not good. I ordered fish and chips. The grease needed to be changed which made the fried food taste bad. For a sports bar, the atmosphere was okay, if you only want to watch one football game that is. They couldn't even put the Red Wings on. All I could watch was Seattle Sea Hawks football on all those TVs. Now this is the part that really ticked me off. There were signs for drink specials during Red Wings games (which I couldn't even watch at this sports bar establishment). Anyway, when we got our bill we were not charged at the special price. The waitress said that there were no specials despite all the signs they had up! She said she couldn't take down the signs and it was not her business... Whatever that means... This bad place is bad. No wonder it was dead. I should have kept driving to somewhere else.

What a terrible place! The food is over-priced and disgusting. The chicken tortilla soup consists of canned tomatoes, baby corn, and a load of chopped onion. Gross. The pizza was cold and undercooked. Disgusting, doughy crust. The chips and queso was also a huge let-down. The queso was so thick it looked like orange cement. The waitresses were rude, slow, and never filled water glasses. One talked about cutting herself on glass and bleeding all over. That's a health hazard, genius. Don't tell customers about that. I wish I could give zero stars. The Ferndale Rosie O'Grady's is a million times better. Will never set foot in here again.

First time visit, they got my order wrong. Asked for bb-que chicken and got regular. It was very dry. We were being treated so didn't feel comfortable to say anything. Seems like a nice enough staff though.

I've been to this place several times as it is really close to the office that makes it quite convenient on lunch. For being a bar it has pretty good food. My only two problems with Rosie's are the service and the prices. Considering local places and comparing lung prices, it is kind of ridiculous that a cup of soup and a salad will run about $15 a person. The service is also horrible. Took a half hour to get our food the last time when we were in there and we could count the number of tables that had people at them with one hand. Overall a pretty decent place for a good bit to eat but use it as a last resort due to the above.

I went here the other week to watch the Tigers beat the A's. I sat at the bar with 2 other of my friends. The bar set up isn't bad, lots of seats and the dance floor is off to one side so you can get away from it if you want. The big problem I had was the service. The bar was crowded but not overly pack, everyone had a seat. My two friends ordered some burgers right when they got there. After a half hour of waiting my one buddy ask if they were killing a cow in the back or what? Her response was shock because she forgot to put the order in, which worked out for me because at that point I was hungry. Also apparently the bartender has no clue whats on the menu. My friends ask what the pub sauce was like on the burger. The bartender said the sauce was hard to describe but is amazing. So we asked her if it was like a BBQ? thousand island?or like mayo based? She said no to all of them and said it more like a a-juis. Well when we got the burger is was thousand island dressing. We all had a laugh. I don't know if they were understaffed that night or got complaints before that the service for the tables was too slow, but the 2 bartenders pretty much focused on making drinks for the waitress at the service station and not on the people sitting at the bar. The bar is shaped like a big L and the bartenders would come to our side every half hour to 45 minutes. I have never seen a bar where everyone at the bar either has an empty glass or no drink at all. It was almost comical to see a whole entire section without a drink. This surprised me because it was a playoff game night and you would expect it to be staffed correctly. I would recommend hitting up gator jakes on van dyke. If you want/have to go here, try sitting at a table. Maybe they will serve you better.

Chicken & Dumplings soup hit the spot, but the Black & Bleu burger was greasy and the fries were soggy. Friendly staff, though, and priced reasonably for bar food.

Their ribs are so good (just wanted to get that out of the way) Me and my buddies always come here to eat and get a few cold ones. Really good prices especially their lunch menu. They have so many TVs its kinda crazy. You can sit anywhere and watch whatvyou want to watch. The waitresses are fast. Whoever says they arent probably was a dick to begin with. If I had to take out one thing though it would have to be the DJ. Gotta get a new one.

I can't believe it they got 50 TV's here and they say they can't put NASCAR on because half the TV's in here would change !!! Well I don't care to much my boys are already in the finals !!! Well they must of felt bad they gave me these 3 buckets for Randy's Roost !!!

Terrible. Waited for the waitress to take our order, bring water, and bring food. Apparently the uniform requires very short shorts so the wait staff walked around picking them out of their asses with the same hands they served our sub par freeze born food from. After going to the Ferndale location we were excited to find one by our house... We will drive the 30 minutes to Ferndale before we come here again. PS. I'm typing this as we have been waiting for our bill which should have been here 10 minutes ago. PSS. They actually charge you .25 for ranch... With a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Stay away, Stay far away.

Let me preface this by saying I've only ever been to the bar on Wednesday evenings to play Quizzo - if not for that, I doubt I'd ever set foot in here. The location is convenient and there is plenty of seating inside. I've been at least a dozen times over the past couple years, and each time we have spotty service, standard food and a sub par beer selection. The waitresses are friendly enough, but don't appear to be in a rush to accomplish anything. It's rarely bustling with a crowd, so we shouldn't really be competing with anyone for a drink order. They've "run out" of things on a handful of occasions needed to make certain drinks - cream for instance. The food is below average bar food. Not greasy and sloppy enough to be a drunken indulgence, and not tasty or creative enough to be worth $9.00 for a salad. There are much better choices in the area no matter what you are looking for - better beer selections, better food, better crowd, better sports. You can live the rest of your life happily having never visited this "Irish" pub.

Such potential to be a nice place to grab a drink on the way home from work. However, if you're not a regular then forget it. The past three times I've waited at the bar for 10 minutes before I was even noticed.

Can't think of what is Irish about this place, certainly not the menu! Asked waitress if they did anything for birthdays, she said she didn't know, but would ask. That's as far as it went. She had no idea what "NA" beer was. Food took forever and was only lukewarm when it came. I was hoping for some Irish type food, but was mostly Mexican, pizza and burgers. Went with the burger and I'm paying for it now. Don't know what was wrong, but it's amazing that anyone could mess up a burger like R O'G did. Huge bun, not even warmed or toasted. Strange taste, can't figure what it was. Couldn't complain, waitress never once came to see how our meal was or to offer refills. Friend had to send back gloppy soup to have it heated. Don't bother with dessert. Deep fried Twinkies? Phony strawberry topping on cheesecake with phony whipped cream? Icky. Never again. Only 12 people there for lunch and our party was five of the twelve. Horrible service, awful food and a real "who cares" attitude.

The food here is really good. They had the best fried stuffed mushrooms I have ever had. I didn't have the pizza but I seen quite a few pies fly by me and they looked delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. I give the mushrooms alone 5 stars. The service was pretty good and they were pretty busy on our trip there. Will come back to visit again.

I came here one day with a friend after we left another bar. We thought we would have better service but we were wrong. I ordered 2 drinks while I was there. A beer and a Fuzzy Navel but what I thought was a Fuzzy Navel it was a screw driver. I told the waitress and she argued with me and told me that it was a Fuzzy Navel and I have had many Fuzzy Navel's in the past so I should know what it tastes like but with that I didn't leave a tip. Also it wasn't even busy. I haven't ordered anything here but I heard they have good food maybe I will go back and order something and the service will be better and maybe then I will add another star to 2 but until then one star is all they are getting. Update: The most recent I was there the servie was good but not the greatest. The waitress came by our table and took our drink order and it did take her a while to come back to ask us what else we wanted to drink. I will go back to try the food.

We have always had great service here. Go for food and not drinks. My family all agree that it is the best burger in the area. It is good! The fries get mixed reviews. They are good but can be a bit soggy sometimes. Never good leftover so if you don't eat them all, don't bother bringing them home except for the dog. I go for the salads. I order the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. It is huge huge huge and always extremely fresh. I get 2 meals out of it. Sounds like a few get rotten service. I am thinking that is more at night when there is entertainment. It is a huge bar, so it is probably hard to work it. Maybe they need more help at times.

I feel a little guilty giving this place 2 stars, because we really did have a good time. I wouldn't say to anyone to avoid-it-at-all-costs or anything, but I also wouldn't advise seeking it out. It works as a suburb mega-bar. Pros: - We got a table quickly (probably luck), and they had a LOT of seating. The place is gigantic. - Cheapy cheap cheap. Living in California (and before that Chicago), I am not used to drinks under $5. Cons: - Service. I wasn't that bothered...until someone cleared my half-full drink! They replaced it, after making sure I was sure it wasn't empty. It was a little weird. A few of my compatriots were irritated with the server having trouble remembering things, but I didn't notice too much. - Drinks are pretty weak. If you want something with a kick, ask for a double. - Music was way loud. There was a speaker directly above our table, which was a midst seating, bar, arcade games, and pool tables. This is clearly conversation area - the dancefloor is on the other side. The yelp guide of "Meh. I've experienced better." is 100% accurate for this one.

I have been here twice and both times I haven't had any complaints. The staff is good and the food is better. Plus they have Blue Moon on tap which just seals the deal for me.

This place is not an irish pub. This is a bar that chose to use an irish name to make money. Place is a dive all the way around. Wait staff is clueless. They wouldnt know irish if it hit em on the head. srsly, best to avoid.

While the food is generally tasty, the service is always slow. I will return there but have to be prepared not to be in a rush.
